Essential Oil Spotlight: Pink Pepper

As I learn more about working with essential oils, I begin to try other oils that I haven’t even considered. I was intuitively drawn to Pink Pepper so I began to study it and work with it.

Pink Pepper Essential Oil is a powerhouse oil, it’s comes from a tree that is sacred to the Incan civilization. This essential oil is distilled from the fruit of the pink peppercorn tree. It helps to support the immune system, digestive system as well as the respiratory system. It’s calming to the nervous system and may help support healthy blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Emotionally its know of “the oil of intrinsic equality”, it helps us release judgements and comparisons to others. This is where I became intrigued with this oil because I have often found myself comparing myself to others.

To work with an essential oil there are a number of ways to do that. If you wish to use it topically, always dilute it before apply to your skin. You can also use it aromatically, which is my preferred method. You can place a few drops in your diffuser or even inhale it directly from the bottle.

How to work with this oil: Inhale it a few times a day. I like to place a drop in my palm, press my hands together and deeply inhale a few times. When you begin working with an oil for a few weeks, you will begin to have an energetic shift of not comparing. Pink Pepper essential oil helps us to extend mercy to ourselves and others. You can also apply to essential oil to your heart charka or solar plexus chakra.
